Abelet makes ligatures for saxophone and clarinet. They feature a rotating system so that the reed is pressed with a right angle on the table. This ensures that the tone is even on the whole range of the instrument. The structure of the ligature is made of wood (except for the sopranino model) for a great richness of tone. Each ligature comes with 3 pressure plates so that the musician can develop his own sound.
The KS ligature has been designed for clarinetists who hold their instrument close to the body. The screw on the top of the mouthpiece does not interfere with the chin. The walnut belt provides a very rich tone. The interchangeable pressure plates allow to adjust power and control. The wood color contrasts with the mouthpiece and the body of the clarinet.
